Brian's Mission as Part of Adam's Army
Well, I did it, and I cannot stop! I completed the 2001 Rock-n-Roll marathon in San Diego, and the 2001 Honolulu Marathon on December 9th!
I will once again be running races as part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training in 2002. I am part of a team (Adam's Army) that runs in Honor of Adam Rose, our Hero! I will be training for and running the Bayshore Marathon in Traverse City Michigan on May 25th, and the Honolulu Marathon on December 8th. With your help, we will raise over $6,000 to participate in these two events! It is an unbelievable experience and the amount of support you receive along the race course just for having that purple jersey on was surreal. I strongly urge anyone who is considering running a marathon, entering a long distance bike race, doing a triathlon or in-line skating to do so as part of the terrific organization. Over the last 2 years, together you and I have raised over $10,000 to help find a cure for Leukemia and other blood related cancers!! Thank you so much for your support of the LLS through your generous donations. In 2000, Team In Training raised over $73 million. With the help of generous people like you, the goal for the 2001 campaign is to raise over $100 million. TNT is committed to donating at least 75% of all monies raised to research, patient aid, and public and professional education programs. If you would like to help achieve this goal, and donate to a good cause, all you have to do is click on the DONATIONS tab on the left hand side of this page. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. You can also check on my progress, both financially and physically, and see a list of current donors by clicking on the appropriate links. Please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think about our effort. I have included pictures of our Honored Hero, Adam Rose in the photo's section. And additional photos can be found at: http://www.bitsnpix.com/albums/shooting/ Thank you for your support of this worthwhile mission! Brian Frost |
